Access to a Quality Course - being a member of Williamwood GC gives you the opportunity to play when you like, as often as you like and how you like, whether you enjoy the challenge of weekly competition or a relaxing social game. The golf course is great fun to play for golfers whatever their ability. There are interesting holes, picturesque holes and challenging holes.
Being a member of Williamwood GC allows you to play regular ladies and men's club competitions throughout the summer season including medal, stableford, bogey, knockout and Texas scramble. Playing competitions will allow you to get a handicap an official CONGU handicap which reflects you’re playing standard allowing you to play in Matches in your other areas
Williamwood’s vibrant and welcoming Ladies Section play competitive golf, including Medals, Stablefords, Match Play and fun competitions, throughout the year on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We offer opportunities for ladies of all levels to play in team matches against other local clubs, whether in Greenlees, Glasgow South League (an evening league aimed at women who work during the day) or in friendlies.
Williamwood GC has a thriving men’s Seniors Section which welcomes new members . The Seniors Section also participate in regular competitive team matches against other clubs in the area which provides the opportunity to play different courses and socialise with golfers from other clubs.
